Books for LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor
If you want a book to help you learn building and programming techniques for LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor, here are two books that I recommend. Both books contain great projects that you can build and learn from, using only the parts and software in your LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor (51515) kit.

The LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor Activity Book, by Daniele Benedettelli is a project-based guide to building and programming with the Robot Inventor kit. It contains building and programming instructions for 7 great projects, from simple to spectacular. Along the way you will get building tips and a fast-paced introduction to programming using LEGO's Scratch-based Word Blocks language.
The LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor Idea Book, by Yoshihito Isogawa specializes in making different forms of mechanical movement using the LEGO TECHNIC parts found in the Robot Inventor kit. It contains hundreds of beautiful color photographs of mechanical devices and ingenious tricks to achieve different kinds of motion. There are also short and simple programming snippets that show how to program the motions using LEGO's Word Blocks.
